Select multiple photos to share or delete
The iPhone is generally a very intuitive device, however there are times when you need to do a little digging to find a useful feature. The ability to select multiple photos is just such a feature.
When viewing a picture in the Photos app, you have the option to share the photo by simply selecting the share icon in the bottom left of the screen.
However, if you want to share multiple pictures either by email or text message, it helps to know how to select multiple pictures in the Photos app.
1. Open the Photos app and select Camera Roll (or Photo Stream – depending on where the photos are stored)
2. At this point, you should see thumbnail images of all your photos. Select the Edit button in the top right corner of the screen.
3. Select all the pictures you want to share. You will notice a red circle with a white check mark will indicate which photos have been selected. When you have selected all the photos you want to share, touch the Share button in the bottom left corner of the screen.
4. A window will appear where you can select the method to share your photos (Mail, Messages, and others). Make your selection to share your photos.
To delete multiple photos, follow the same process, but tap the Delete button instead of the Share button.
